The smallest feeder in the Squirrel Buster™ family, the "Standard" holds 3/4 quart (3 cups) and is a great size for a deck or just outside a favorite window. Our sunflower hearts are a good match for this feeder.

We do not recommend this feeder for the Shell-free Medley, as some of the peanuts are too large and tend to clog the feeding ports.

Like the other Squirrel Busters™ from Brome, this one won't let squirrels at the seed. Openings in the inner section of the feeder align with the seed ports in the outer shroud, providing birds access to the seed. But when a squirrel or chipmunk climbs onto the feeder, its weight automatically forces the shroud down, closing the seed ports. Squirrels are foiled but not harmed in any way.
